Cashing In on End of Season Sales

It’s true that I won’t start packing until the night before we leave, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been been dreaming about what outfits I’ll be wearing on our Caribbean vacation next month. AND cashing in on lots of the end-of-summer sales. And maybe a few cute fall pieces were mixed in those shopping bags too – but we’ll address my online shopping addiction at a later date.

One tip – never pay full price for bathing suits! They’re really overpriced to begin with when you think about the fact that they’re itty bitty strips of fabric  that cover just enough. Wait until the end of August and then stock up for next summer. Especially if you’re like me and buy basic separates to mix and match. They’ll always be in season next year.

Beach vacations are always the easiest to pack for. Bathing suits, cover ups and flip flops for the day, sundresses and wedges for night time. Throw in some sunscreen and a good book, and you’re good to go!

Here are a few things that will most definitely be in my (unnecessarily over-sized) suitcase. Some were already in my closet and others are recent purchases (it’s okayy though because they were on sale).
